WAMPL Watch
Track WAMPL supply metrics, underlying AMPL holdings, wrapping ratios, and historical trends for the non-rebasing wrapper token of Ampleforth.
Data Gap Notice
Our system could not snapshot WAMPL statistics during August 17-23, 2024, resulting in missing data for this period. This gap occurred due to a existing supply policy cooldown mechanism, temporarily halting regular rebase operations.
For detailed information about this period, see the AF(h): August 17, 2024
WAMPL Supply Evolution
Dual-line chart visualization
% AMPL Wrapped
14.25% of total supply
% AMPL Wrapped
Tracks the percentage of total AMPL supply wrapped in WAMPL:
- Shows adoption and usage of WAMPL wrapper
- Higher % indicates more AMPL holders using WAMPL
- Useful for understanding protocol integration
AMPL/WAMPL Ratio
1.369 AMPL per WAMPL
AMPL/WAMPL Ratio
Shows the accumulation of positive rebases in WAMPL:
- WAMPL balance stays constant while underlying AMPL grows
- Ratio increases during positive rebases
- Ratio decreases during negative rebases
- Higher ratio = more accumulated positive rebases
% WAMPL Minted
14.2% of max supply
% WAMPL Minted
Percentage of total WAMPL supply that has been minted:
- WAMPL has a fixed max supply of 10,000,000
- Tracks how much of this maximum has been created
- Minting happens when users wrap AMPL into WAMPL
- Burning happens when users unwrap WAMPL back to AMPL
Understanding WAMPL
WAMPL (Wrapped AMPL) is a fixed-supply wrapper for AMPL that accumulates rebase effects internally. When you wrap AMPL into WAMPL, the number of WAMPL tokens stays constant while the underlying AMPL amount changes with each rebase.
Key Concept: Your WAMPL balance never changes, but the amount of AMPL you can unwrap grows (or shrinks) with positive (negative) rebases.
